About the Staffordshire Bull Terrier
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier, affectionately known as the “Staffie,” is a muscular, medium-sized breed that originated in the Staffordshire region of England in the 19th century. Developed from crosses between Bulldogs and various terrier breeds, the Staffie was initially bred for the now-banned blood sports of bull-baiting and dog fighting.
