About the Boston Terrier
The Boston Terrier is one of the few breeds that originated in the United States. The breed traces its history to the 1870s in Boston, Massachusetts, where a dog named Judge — a cross between an English Bulldog and the now-extinct English White Terrier — was purchased by Robert C. Hooper.
